This course is suitable for leaders and emerging leaders as well as TA Managers/teams and HR professionals in the legal professions who want to formalise their interviewing and selection skills.
The ability to attract excellent talent to meet the strategic and business needs of a firm is a key competency for leaders in law firms however many law firm leaders including new partners, senior associates and special counsel have never received any formal recruitment or interview training.
In the legal market where competition between firms for quality candidates is an ongoing challenge, it is the interview experience which can often be the difference between acceptance or rejection of a job offer. In addition, poor hiring decisions are costly in terms of time, excessive recruiting costs, added training costs, poor performance and negative impact on teams.
Understanding how to interview and select the best person for a business-critical role is a crucial leadership competency and development skill and it is proven that good hiring practices and decisions can impact the organisation’s performance and bottom line.
